Upcoming EventsLong Island Region Swap Shop Collaborating On the Common Core Hosted by: NYS TESOL Curriculum and Standards, Long Island Region, and Professional Concerns Committees Date: Thursday, April 4, 2013 Place: Sagamore Middle School, Sachem Central School District, 57 Division St., Holtsville, NY 11742 Time: 4:00-5:30 pm
Price: Members- $3.00 Join us for an afternoon of sharing lessons, strategies and techniques you have found to be successful in your classrooms. Please bring copies of your materials to “swap” so that everyone will leave with a new set of ideas. This is an opportunity to network with surrounding districts and support one another during this transition into the Common Core. This event is open to the first 20 registrants.
